To be eligible for whitening, the patient must not have dental disease (such as cavities) or periodontal disease (such as periodontitis). If there are restorations on the front teeth, they may need to be replaced after whitening to match the new colour of the teeth (restorations cannot be whitened; they must be replaced to change their colour, although this is not always necessary). Whitening with thermoformed trays is the safest, most effective and longest-lasting type of whitening. The exam is a mandatory prerequisite for whitening. For any other questions, please call us.
