How does at-home whitening work?

Before you start an at-home whitening treatment, we need to make sure your oral health is good and that any cavities have been filled beforehand. We then take impressions to make your custom trays.

How long at-home whitening takes depends mainly on the original shade of your teeth. For convincing results, Clinique dentaire Bossé Marois recommends avoiding any drinks or foods that stain teeth, and not smoking, for the whole treatment period. If your teeth become sensitive, we suggest using a toothpaste for “sensitive teeth”.

If you have any questions during the treatment, our staff will be happy to answer them! And if you would like touch-ups in a few years to keep your teeth white, you simply order new syringes of whitening gel.
