Veneers

A dental veneer is a very thin shell, made of porcelain or composite, that the dental professional bonds to the front surface of a tooth to improve its appearance. We use veneers in particular to restore incisors and canines that are stained, misshapen, chipped or cracked. Some patients also choose this solution to correct the look of slightly misaligned teeth or to hide a noticeable gap between two teeth (diastema).
In other words, veneers are mainly used to bring harmony back to a smile whose teeth are not damaged enough to affect how they work. For example, if the structure of the tooth is seriously compromised or if the tooth has had a root canal, a dental crown is the better choice, since it will also strengthen the tooth.
