Bruxism

Bruxism is the habit of grinding your teeth, especially during sleep. Fortunately, there are now some solutions, such as sleeping with an occlusal splint, to reduce the harmful effects of bruxism.
Some signs that may point to a teeth-grinding problem:
- Unusual tiredness on waking
- Flattened and/or worn teeth
- Damaged gums (e.g. gum recession)
- Sensitive teeth and gums
- Jaw pain or tension
- Clicking when you open or close your mouth
- Headaches or earaches
If this habit is starting to cause you such problems, don’t hesitate to contact us.
